I bumped into the podcast by accident before watching bachelor. Iā€™m a reverse fan - I literally watch the show so that I can keep up with the podcast. You both make brilliant and entertaining content. Go forth with confidence...your fans will follow you to your next adventure.

Hands down one of the best podcasts in Bachelor Nation. Heartbroken to hear the news and looking forward to supporting your efforts moving forward!

Not a unique perspective, I know, but this podcast was my personal favorite way to consume Bach content each week. I honestly found myself (since Coltons season tbh) just listening to these recaps instead of watching every minute of each episode. Of course I catch episodes here and there, but because I fully trust and agree with you two spectacular journalists, I much preferred the podcast way! I will have to subscribe to whatever you guys come up with, and I wish the biggest and best successes to both of you in the future! xoxo Also please donā€™t forget Allison Williams ā€” how are we supposed to go on without knowing her thoughts!?

Iā€™ve never ā€œliked and subscribedā€ until now and I canā€™t think of a social media account more deserving of support. I think you both are such lovely people. I truly look forward to your intelligent and compassionate take on a pop culture show. I watch the Bachelor for a silly, weekly release and stumbled upon your podcast which gave me so much joy to listen to an intelligent discussion about a tv dating show. My 14 year old daughter has been asking to watch the Bachelor with me and I finally consented under one condition: she must process the crazy she is watching by listening the next day to two smart, feminist Friends. Thank you.

Here to Make Friends was the first podcast I ever listened to. I have heard every episode. Even though I often give up on the Bachelor before it is done I always listen to your recap. I cried when I found out.

You ladies have been the highlight of my week for years now! You got me through my engagement, my wedding, my yearlong assignment in Afghanistan (where I was probably the only Bachelor fan!), another overseas assignment and move, my evacuated-turned-quarantined 2020 pregnancy, and now early motherhood. I was devastated to hear about the layoffs and how they happened, but Iā€™m grateful I now have a way to be there for you and give back to two women who have given me so much joy, humor, happiness, and intellectual thought. I just signed up for an annual subscription to Rich Text, and I canā€™t wait to see what you do next!

Your show has been the highlight of my week now for years. I have watched a handful of actual Bachelor episodes in that time but Iā€™ve listened to every episode of HTMF. Your podcast is the lens with which I interacted with the Bachelor and I look forward to seeing what you both do next.

I agree with so many others. Idk how to watch Bach without your podcast to look forward too. Nothing was more disappointing this past week than waiting and waiting for the alert that it was up...and then it never came. I truly hope you can find a way to continue HTMF! You ladies are incredibly smart, witty, and utterly enjoyable. Whatever you do next, Iā€™m sure it will be a success.

I sincerely canā€™t imagine watching the bachelor without these recaps to help me think about the show more critically in the moment, and inform me on any subtle form of racism, misogyny, etc. that I would have otherwise missed. This show has helped me spot these subtleties in my own life, and I couldnā€™t me more grateful! So excited to be a subscriber!

I was so sorry to hear about your lay offs...I only hope that this means bigger and better for you both. I have been enjoying your podcasts for some time now and think you both do a great job in keeping it interesting, fun and educational. Iā€™m so disappointed in the way you found out and how challenging that must be for both of you. Hang in there...you have a lot of avid supporters and people knowing that you will both land on your feet and continue doing the good work that you do. Thanks for letting us participate in your content and so glad to support your next adventure, whatever that ends up being.

I was lost when your episode of Here to Make Friends wasnā€™t available last week - I look forward to it much more so than the Bachelor franchise episodes! After two days of countless refreshes on your podcast homepage, I knew something was wrong and logged back into Twitter to investigate and learned about the terrible news of the layoffs. I felt obliged to reach out to show my support, and to let you know Iā€™ll be here waiting for the next thing the two of you create. Canā€™t wait - wishing you all the best.

The only podcast that I actually listen to on a weekly basis. Iā€™ve always enjoyed your feminist take on the bachelor franchise and I look forward to listening to you in this different way. As a graduate of a journalism school, those layoffs are just brutal to read about. I know youā€™ll land on your feet and in the meantime I look forward to listening to you in this new way.

I love, love, love this podcast! Itā€™s the only Bachelor podcast I canā€™t miss. I can miss the Bachelor episode, but I canā€™t miss the podcast! So glad youā€™re back!

You both are awesome ā€” and Iā€™ve been listening for years. Just subscribed to Rich Text and keep us updated where you land next and how to support you. Buzzfeed is really missing out on two amazing journalists ā€”and a layoff was pretty shortsighted in my opinion. Encourage you to keep going with the HTMF podcast and perhaps even expand into other pop media!
