Yay Fourth Wing! So glad you gave it a chance! I am loving seeing romantasy become so mainstream as us YA fantasy loving girlies have always enjoyed our adventure stories with a large dose of teen romance!
Also, I know it's the holidays and Emma's been traveling, but I saw Anyone But You and am dying for you two to cover it!!! My first time seeing a romcom in theaters in ages and had such a blast!
Emma, the pictures of the wedding you posted were to die for! Glad you got to have such a fun holiday vacay. 😍 And sorry about the dairy allergy, Claire! I’m trying to do Whole30 for the new year so I’m right there with you on missing dairy. 😫
Side note— The new documentary “Murder in Boston: Roots, Rampage, and Reckoning” on Max was great, especially if you like true crime but not the gory details. Highly recommend!
Rachel Lindsay and Van Lathan interviewed the director on their pod and it piqued my interest. Not sure if it’s because I’m from the west coast but I had no idea about any of Boston’s history lol. Super interesting.
Fourth Wing/Iron Flame thoughts-it’s kinda wild this author started with romance novels bc my word the action to me is what keeps me staying up too late!! The romance element idk it’s good just not what got me hooked.
I have the Seraphine Coat -- bought a year ago when my baby was 2 months old and using again this winter without the panel. I am obsessed with it! A long puffer coat (a must since I'm tall) and the modifications for babywearing and maternity are incredible. Felt much more worth the price knowing I could wear it when I'm not pregnant or babywearing, and it's the coat I reach for most often these days. (Virginia is cold af at the moment!)

It’s always wild to me that you can turn a newsletter with recommendations into something I can reread and laugh out loud too. Great work as always ♥️
