I can’t stop listening to TTPD and every time I try to put on something else I find it actively annoying even if it’s music I love lol. She really does put narcotics in her songs… 😔

A friend of mine from college, Jenna Bainbridge, is in Suffs! She’s the first actor in a wheelchair to originate a role on Broadway 💖

Have either of you ever tried Kiziks? Whether you are chasing kids or traveling, I’ve found their step-in function to be so fantastic. I’m a high school teacher on my feet all day and now I can’t get myself to wear anything but Kiziks to work.

Yes, I've tried them! I think mine are a tad small, so I regret not exchanging them for more a size that might have been more comfortable. Because the step-in design is AMAZING. I am always carrying a baby now so leaving the house is 10x easier with step-in shoes. Do you have any shoe models you find particularly cute or easy to style? I'm not a big sneaker girl so I am not sure about the really clunky running shoe styles.

I like the Vegas, Prague, or Irvine for casual but not sporty. My feet are a bit wide so I found ordering my regular size in the wide width was perfect!

Emma, thanks for reminding me of the Virginia Sole-Smith profile, which I'd been meaning to read. I agree with you about the icky feeling. For me, what jumped out was the author using the phrase bigger bodies more often than fat - and rarely using fat without quotation marks around it. It felt like a base coat of distance and assessment on which the other stories about Oreos, butter, etc., could be painted.
