Claire, I think I've been influenced to try the Huaraches. The website says to size down a half size - would you say that's an accurate tip? I'm wary. Thanks for another great week of recs!
Good question! I wear my usual size, and they are snug when I first start wearing them. I also have pretty wide feet, so that tip might apply to people with narrower feet, especially since they’re leather and do stretch over time, but they don’t seem to run notably large to me.

I got the other Nisolo sandals you recommended last year (I think it was last year), and I have to admit, they sometimes still hurt my feet and the sandal strap doesn't stay up! I still love them, but, yeah...did you ever break them in/did they ever get really comfy for you?
Yeah, I struggled to break them in too! I think the white leather is a little stiffer, plus the weave of the huaraches gives them some extra elasticity.
